Slip Ring Assembly SRS029-03S For Gerber Cutter Machines

Since founded in 2000, AOOD do only one thing: design and manufacture slip ring assemblies. In 2011, we designed and manufactured slip ring SRS029-03S to replace original Gerber cutter slip ring assembly P/N 56155000by the request of one big customer of Gerber cutter machines users. They use Gerber cutters since 1980s, slip ring assembly is their most problems part due to the slip ring is working in high vibration condition of 350rpm speed of 24 hours/ 7 days duty-cycle. They wanted AOOD to provide them a slip ring replacement with less maintenance and longer lifespan. After three times improvement and testing, our slip ring prototypes SRS029-03S finally satisfied the customer with superior performance, they used AOOD slip ring SRS029-03S to replace all their original Gerber cutter slip rings in several plants and introduced us several new customers.

Based on original dimension and installation, we optimized the design and adopted fiber brush technology to replace the original Gerber cutter slip ring assembly, allow AOOD new slip ring replacement SRS029-03S not bothered by vibration and can achieve about 8 months MTBF( 120M revolutions) in condition of 350RPM, 24h/ 7d duty-cycle. We also provide a complete set of brushes replacement for each slip ring to prolong its service lifespan and save cost, the brush replacements are adjusted well and fixed, easy for the customers to mount.
