A slip ring is a device which allows the transfer of power, data or video between a stationary part and a rotating part, it consists of conductive ring, insulating ring, brush block, shaft and housing. A slip ring is also called a rotary electrical interface, electrical rotary joint, rotating electrical connector, commutator, collector or swivel.
The Ethernet and dual high definition( HD) video slip ring capsule ADC44-2SDI-2E provides 1 channel Gigabit Ethernet and dual channels HD-SDI video communication in combination with 44 ways 2 amp power or data connections. RJ45 connector is terminated for Ethernet cable and MCX connector for RG179 coax able, easy for mounting.
This unit ADC44-2SDI-2E utilizes single fiber brush and gold on gold contact technology, provides superior signal and data transmission capability with low electrical noise. Compact structure and light weight is ideal for video systems with limited space.
