A slip ring capsule is a device which allows the transfer of power, data or video between a stationary part and a rotating part, it consists of conductive ring, insulating ring, brush block, shaft and housing. A slip ring is also called a rotary electrical interface, electrical rotary joint, rotating electrical connector, commutator, collector or swivel.
ADSR-C60 is a standard, off-the-shelf capsule slip ring, compact designed to allow 60 circuits 2A in envelope of 25.4mm diameter and 91.7mm length. This unit utilizes gold on gold contact technology, provides superior signal and data transmission capability with low electrical noise. Support RS422, RS485, USB, Gigabit Ethernet etc. signal transmission. Ideal for use where mounting space is limited and critical but requires many ways power and data connections. 5A or 10A circuits can be combined.
